The Philadelphia City Commissioners are a three member bipartisan board of elected officials in charge of elections and voter registration for the City of Philadelphia.  Each Commissioner is elected to serve a four-year term that coincides with the municipal election cycle for Mayor and City Council.

The Committee of Seventy, a non-profit, non-partisan organization, was established in 1904 for the express purpose of combating corruption in Philadelphia. The organization played a major role in the adoption of civil service reforms and the passage of the 1919 and 1951 Home Rule Charters.

Young Involved Philadelphia promotes active citizenship and emerging leadership among young Philadelphians. YIP strives to: Engage young citizens through opportunities to explore Philadelphia and participate in civic affairs; Connect young Philadelphians and local civic groups; Represent young people by strengthening channels of communication with the city’s leadership.

America Votes serves as the central coordination hub of the progressive community both nationally and in states across the country. Working with over 400 state and national partner organizations, as well as a robust range of data and targeting tools, America Votes leads collaborative efforts to advance progressive policies, expand access to the ballot, coordinate issue advocacy and election campaigns, and protect every American’s right to vote.
